In just 18 months, the Creator Community Marketplace has grown in ways we only have imagined.

Today, we’re proud to celebrate a major milestone:

4 million licensed assets and 8,000 creators fueling campaigns around the world.

This kind of hockey-stick growth is a testament to the vision, tenacity, and heart behind the scenes. And it’s accelerating:

Over 30,000 new pieces of content are uploaded to the platform every single day, unlocking more inspiration, more creative options, and faster licensing for every campaign.

Here's how we got here:

  • It took 18 months to reach our first 1 million assets
  • Then just 4 months to 2 million
  • 3 months to 3 million
  • And now only 2 months to hit 4 million

From the Ground Up: A Note from the Team

At the helm of this expansion is Lorraine Castle, who has led the Creator Community with empathy, creativity, and speed:

“When we launched the Catch+Release Creator Marketplace, we had a big vision and a lean team. Every milestone has been a mix of strategic experimentation and listening to creators, producers, brands, and marketers alike. What’s driven this growth is trust. Trust from creators who say yes to licensing their work. And trust from brands that believe in using real content to tell better stories, stories that resonate with people.

The other driver is passion. Passion from our creators, who love capturing genuine, real moments from their lives. They have a need to create and are excited to share those moments with the world. Catch+Release helps creators gain licensing opportunities from photos and videos they’ve already taken. The C+R Creator Marketplace is a turning point for the creator economy.”

Lorraine Castle, Director of Creator Community at Catch+Release

Here’s what our CRO, Bryan Wargo, had to say about the journey so far:

“This is more than just growth. It’s a signal. When creators and marketers meet in one platform to move at the speed of culture, the results speak for themselves. Hitting these milestones proves there’s demand for authentic, licensable content, and we’re just getting started.”
Bryan Wargo, Chief Revenue Officer, Catch+Release

Why It Matters for Brands and Agencies
