Save Time Using Bulk Checkout to Request Use on Multiple Shots in Your Shopping Cart
When it comes to licensing content, production teams are reviewing hundreds of shots per campaign. You need a faster way to request use on multiple shots, so we made it easy for you to do that. Catch+Release is happy to introduce a new shopping cart and checkout feature so that you can send shots to clearance faster and get back to more important matters.
“We know our users are always moving quickly, so we made it easy to be able to request an assessment, clearance, or license on multiple shots at the same time,” shares Rob Suttman, Product Manager at Catch+Release. “Our new cart view makes it easy to confirm you’re taking action on the right shots, so you can feel confident at every step when licensing content.”
Any time you want to add a shot to your shopping cart, click the button that says “Request Use”. This automatically adds the shot to your shopping cart. You can always delete an item from your shopping cart if you change your mind.
Visit Your Shopping Cart in the Checkout
From the checkout view, tell us what type of project you need the content for so that we can help you with the license. Each shot in the shopping cart can be used for a different project. You can also decide if you want to purchase an assessment first or go straight to clearance.
An assessment is an optional precursor to pursuing a license. Based on our expertise in content licensing, we’ll tell you how likely it is you’ll be able to successfully license the content for your needs, approximately how much it will cost to license the shot, and a timeline estimate for turning around a license. (If you’re in a hurry, we recommend skipping the assessment.)

Ads & Curation - Why are they interrelated?
Jim Beam, a beloved whiskey brand, ran a TV ad in May 2024. The spot, aptly named “People are Good” focuses on humans and has little to do with the taste and attributes of the product. Instead it’s focused on the outcomes and yes, the value. In other words, bringing people together to experience life’s precious moments. As a viewer, it pulls you in, tugs at your heart-strings. It’s real and therefore believable.
